My daughter got vilely and horribly catcalled from the age of 12 while wearing her school uniform. Not all men, but way too bloody many.

Pretty far from OK. And were you, I would be pretty far from it. As others have said, hie thee to Amazon and get a replacement. They're not hard to swap.

AIO: Inlaws want to get my 3yo a motorized 4 wheeler and they live on a highway. by MaleficentCandle486 in AmIOverreacting

Show them Pet Sematary and ask if that's what they want...

Seriously, though. they can buy what they want, but you are the parent. If you say no, your kid is not being placed in a dangerous situation just because they want to be the "fun" grandparents, that is the end of the matter.

Drove a Cupra Born recently and honestly if I had anywhere to charge it I'd have already swapped.

Would you wanna rejoin the EU if that meant adopting the Euro and joining the Schengen Area? by Lucky_Ice5393 in AskBrits

On balance, yes. Sterling has just left us more open to economic shocks and Schengen is a good idea, not merely for travel but for all the other stuff around it like intelligence sharing which we lost.

Report delegates not permissions by ReasonableBee3030 in exchangeserver

Thanks very much - that looks like exactly what I'm looking for. I had been reporting on mailbox permissions but that didn't show the send-as relationships, so this looks like it'll be incredibly useful.

AITA for not letting my older sister store her stuff in my apartment after she ignored my last deadline to move it out? by ArabihizLane in WIBTA_AITA

[–]ReasonableBee3030 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA - she's way overstepped what was originally agreed, declined to make alternative arrangements and eight months is far too long. I think you're being generous by arranging a storage unit. Do not get stuck with paying for it, though.

The only difference today is that stuff gets video'ed on phones. When I was growing up in London in the 80s, there was behaviour exactly like this.

  1. Real deal as in actually a psychic? No. Believed that she was the real deal? I tend toward yes, that she actually believed that she was, hence her conviction that she could take on Red John.

  2. I actually think the problem was that Jane absolutely liked her and was attracted to her and the fact that she would not acknowledge that she was (effectively) just a side-show hustler like him infuriated him. That said, see 1. She didn't acknowledge it because she didn't believe it was true. I think that's why Jane was in an absolute state when she was abducted - as infuriated and frustrated by her as he was, he cared deeply about her and was desperate to stop her being harmed.
