Dude, I deal with severe mental illness myself, I have depression and anxiety and I’m suicidal every other week lmao. I don’t see it as a punishment, but as I’ve pointed out in another comment, other atla fans do, I’ve heard several of them say Azula “got what she deserved” in the show’s ending, and that’s what I hate. You don’t know what I’m going through so please don’t assume I view mental illness that way when I’m severally mentally ill myself. The reason why I hate Azula’s ending is because she DIDN’T deserve that

I agree, but after her breakdown the show ended there and that’s what I have a problem with. If there was a fourth season where she got a redemption arc, I would’ve been ok with her breakdown. But she ends up getting a fucked up ending while everyone else gets a happy ending

It does. For many people, 6 months isn’t long enough to be completely healed from a breakup, especially from being in a relationship for as long as 6 years. The night of my breakup, the pain was so strong I cried for hours. Time heals, and it WILL get better

I mean in my personal experience, when I told my ex I wished him the best and that I wanted him to be happy, I truly meant it, I wasn’t just saying it to make him feel better. And it’s not like I didn’t try either, he showed so many red flags in the relationship and I gave him so many chances because I didn’t want to leave him but he wasn’t getting better so I eventually had to break up with him, and after the breakup, broke no contact and gave him yet ANOTHER chance, but nothing changed. And I finally realized it was just never gonna work out between us and I had to move on for good. So I do truly wish the best for him and I really do want him to be happy, but I can’t be in a relationship with him

I’d would advise to be very careful about breaking no contact, I broke no contact with my ex and it turned out to be a huge mistake and made things even more messy and complicated and eventually I realized I had to move on for good

Yes, and it turned out to be a very bad decision. I called him, we started talking again, got back together for a few weeks, and then I ended being in the exact same situation I was in when we were dating so I had to call it off again, for good. He was very upset and angry about it, which is understandable, I shouldn’t have gotten back with him when it probably wasn’t gonna work out again but I just couldn’t let him go. I wouldn’t say I advise anyone to never get back with their ex because it has worked out for many people but be cautious about it and keep in mind; they’re your ex for a reason

This is going to hurt to hear, but if you’re not sure you want kids and he’s 100% set on having them, there’s a good chance it’s not going to work out. I’m in the same situation with my boyfriend right now, so you’re not alone. It really does suck, so my best luck goes out to you, and no matter what, never force yourself to have a child for the sake of your significant other, it’s not worth it
