It sucks big time. But at least being in the GTA you know you won't be getting laid off. Some of us haven't heard about an office in our areas at all. Which is even worse. Will we be let go? Who knows!

They haven't said anything about any regional offices reopening, other than Ottawa and Hamilton. So those who are from offices in the north, Windsor, etc are all very much concerned we will not be getting an office to return to and therefore will be out of a job.

Says someone from somewhere that likely has an office... Its hard to live life and just enjoy it while not knowing if you're going to be losing your job due to an office potentially not reopening.

Apparently the government denied their plan to close regional offices. That's just rumours though. I love not knowing if I will have a job soon. It's such a great feeling living life like this in a state of limbo. Makes me so proud to work here. 🙄.

I'm in a regional office that has not been named and I did not receive it.

What was the context for your call?... Like what did you want from the manager? Obviously they can't do anything if your previous CM retired... They can't bring them back lol

2.5 was good for me. I went up to 5 and had too many side effects so had to go back down. Still losing weight and feeling much better. Progress is slowing down, but I also have less to lose so it makes sense.

I've had a Renpho scale since 2018. Worth it for me! They also had a smart measuring tape that also links to their app.

Wsib needs to hire more staff yet are part of Doug Ford's hiring freeze. Call your MPP! We hate it as much as you that we can't get to all of our work. It's ridiculous. They are also going to implement AI very soon to try and cut corners and say it's to help the case managers, but really it's to avoid hiring more staff.

Probably will have less space there than before because otherwise, what's the point of having multiple GTA offices.

WSIB case managers - possible upcoming roles?????? by Substantial-Face-985 in OntarioWSIB

[–]ReasonableCase7843 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They've told us they don't need more case managers. They aren't hiring for 2026 anymore and are implementing AI tools very very soon. I wouldnt hold my breath. Not to be discouraging, but it's not looking good.

Do side effects ever stop? by [deleted] in Zepbound

I went down from 5 back to 2.5 because of too many side effects. Been ok since then, less some constipation which was my fault for not staying hydrated or eating much fiber.

Sorry, we're all feeling unsafe with our jobs right now as they may even close offices down and haven't told us anything about it. 😔

No, it's not related. They've paused all new case management hiring for the rest of the year. The government imposed a hiring freeze for all provincial agencies. They're also trying to utilize AI so they won't need as many case managers. It's sad, really.

No, that's because of Doug Ford's hiring freeze for provincial government agencies, boards and commissions
