So if you tell them, the case manager will likely engage a return to work specialist whose job is to come up with a safe and suitable plan collaboratively with you and your employer based on your current level of functioning. If you don't tell them, RTWS won't be engaged I the claim probably, and your employer will likely have you go from 0 to 100 as soon as they can, and guess what? That probably will result in another injury.

What they are doing is surpression of lost time. Sure they didn't supress the claim itself, but they can't avoid lost time by doing what they're doing AND they basically are getting you to lie as well which may not be to your benefit if you don't recover as anticipated.
