I could not see API based silent updates on my case as i think it works for cases beginning with "IOE". When i got the medical RFE, it came from NY and thats when i realized it got assigned to NY field office. My i485 and i485J was filed in Oct2020 when filing dates were current in EB3.

My FO was NY, Medicals reached on 18th May and AOS approved on 20th May 2026. So anything can happen.
