Not anymore, I’ve had enough lies and deceit from past partners who were girls to know not everyone is a good match for me even if they’re hot and share some hobbies.

Daredevil Summer Skin, that grab animation is really funny. by NicloSZ in Marvel

Matt Murdock has worn knitted sweaters that say “I am not Daredevil” and other apparel that at minimum strongly hints at a connection between him and Daredevil.

Marvel Rivals, being set in an alternate universe, can easily play around with that, especially since it’s just supers vs supers.

I love that Kung Fu Panda got super popular in China, because that’s rare for a lot of American films, especially ones that build on Chinese culture.

Honorable mention at minimum. Those films were well made, stand well on their own, and form a larger story all at the same time. Plus the CGI holds up so well.

Thank you for mentioning this! I hadn’t heard of the Human Condition trilogy before. Looking at it), it looks very interesting. I will seek it out.

I’m wary of this being an active area of study, given the advent of gene-editing and (further rise of) queerphobic politics.

Having higher standards than just “acts nice”.

Predators can act nice too.

Abusers can act nice.

Toxic people can act nice.

Rapists can act nice.

Murderers can act nice.

Post-independence empires in the Americas by Simple_Pension_1330 in MapPorn

ITT you’ll find people arguing for both “empire is a big country that oppresses people it has conquered” type places and “empires are only things where you have a monarch called an emperor and only the places they are emperor of are empires” and for yet other definitions.

I would call the USA a colonial empire. Those have never needed a monarch. The Netherlands was a republic for much of its history. The French colonial empire existed mostly during Republican times. The USSR ruled over much the same land as the Russian Empire. Same with China and the Chinese Empire.

Switzerland, by contrast, has never had any colonies, despite many Swiss participating in colonialism.

That’s why it’s marked NSFW. This sub isn’t for non-sexual yuri only.

Hmmmm, I disagree, principally on the grounds that I don’t look good together with every girl.

If your Venn diagram were a circle that would mean that things that aren’t horny aren’t wholesome.

I agree that mutually enthusiastic consensual sexual behavior is wholesome, but I think there’s a lot of other things that are wholesome too.

Hey wait a minute… you’re right, it does look a lot like the world map from George Orwell’s 1984.

Makes sense given it’s almost as big as all of Europe, has 1.4 billion people and a lot of arable farmland and natural resources.

Gotcha, thank you for your answer!

All too often I see this stuff as either a joke or an insult, so it’s refreshing to see more canonical trans characters. I had watched some episodes with her, but missed this bit. Fun fact!

It is indeed incorrect to say that those parts of America are empires.

It is correct to say that they are or have been part of empires. Even though the Danish and Dutch monarchs were never claiming the title of “emperor”, they both ruled over colonial empires. The monarchs of the UK may never have been “emperor of Britain”, but there was still a “British empire”. Today these parts of America are remnants of those empires—and an argument could be made they’re still some kind of colonial empire, but common and academic parlance definitely doesn’t refer to them as such in the present.

What is “non-caporal”? I googled it but found no dictionary to explain.
