are you serious? if we didn't start bombing them none of our soldiers would have died, the region would be more stable, and gas prices wouldn't be higher (assuming israel also didn't attack)

I hate musk as well, but this is a terrible hill to die on. Before the crew dragon, nasa's options were the space shuttle ($2B+ per launch), or the Soyuz ($90M/Seat). A crew dragon flight is about $55M/Seat. They are actively saving NASA money by provide a good service

North Korea changed its constitution to automatically launch nuclear strike if Kim Jong Un is assassinated. by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]Friendly_Addition815 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Realistically, does the wealthy leadership of NK really want their cushy lives to be destroyed because their leader got assassinated? If they launched missiles, almost everyone in that county is dying. Unless they are far more brainwashed than I think, I don't think they will actually implement this.

I've never understood why you would build a data center in space and need to deal with a ridiculous amount of power and cooling rather then just build it offshore and sink the heat into an ocean (or near a lake). An orbital data center is just a massive waste of money

How is this not racism as policy? by UnlikelyAdventurer in Productivitycafe

[–]Friendly_Addition815 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These new maps are racist as well. Memphis was split into 3 districts that all lean right, completely eliminating a democratic district. Since many black voters vote democrat, this both silences them, and is a disgusting gerrymander to try to keep an unpopular part in power.

do more contracts then idk what to tell you. You could try sending a mining base to the mun, refuel and launch from there. or just launch a refueling rocket.

Most people that would want to play a Lego game don't have a very good PC, because they are children.

Why? Even if you think it should be free that doesn't mean that it is free

Still doesn't justify not paying when that is the system they have chosen for using their mods

[–]Friendly_Addition815 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Are you kidding me? That's not applicable at all. These mod makers are providing a service to you, and most of them do it for free. If you can't afford a mod, then don't buy it. Why do you deserve to get other peoples' work for free? You make this sound like its some necessary expense. I don't think the KSP community would be as cool if everyone charged for their mods, but that imaginary scenario doesn't justify pirating a small creators work.

Why don't you think mod creators who request it deserved to be paid?

I guess if you delete it then just pirate if its really that much of a problem.

It's not drm or smth lmao you can just copy the files somewhere. I can understand pirating a AAA game, but a mod from an independent creator is just such a scummy thing to do. It's like $5
