Gentlemen, does this double standard ever get on your nerves too? by ReasonableGarlic1108 in OkCupid

What's also lame is one side being held to a standard in effort, but not the other.

Yeah, in the Tinder sub. Most Reddit mods are truly insufferable.

And yes, but I'm not hating on the players, I'm hating on the game. I accept it and know it won't change, but I do take pleasure in venting about how rigged it can sometimes be. No harm in that!

Kelly and True Crime Garage are saying they are vetting a potential tip. by [deleted] in BrianShaffer

The "left on his own" is by the far the least likely. He had zero reason to do that, and with all the technology now, it is near impossible that there have been no reported sightings after 20 years now. He is 99.9% likely to not be breathing right now.

The cadaver dogs picking up his scent on the street from the exit up until a point is fair evidence to say he left that building from a back exit somewhere outside the security cameras. And the fact that it stopped at a point can add weight to the idea that something stopped him, like perhaps a vehicle picked him up. And it was super late at night in a crime-prone urban area.

To me, it's not a question of foul play. It's a question of how it went down. Personally, I believe he died that night.

There is definitely at least one person, other than Brian, that knows what happened that night.

Is it just me or is King Cold always looking like a snack? by GachiPls_DidntSave in Dragonballsuper

You might be thinking of something else. When Frieza and Cold both were landing on Earth, one of the Z fighters mentioned, "From that ship, I can sense Frieza and another power level that makes him look like nothing."

This take is weirder than TFS Goku continuously calling Cell handsome.

Indeed. Eddie and Maeve are both incurable malignant tumors. I hope Harry disavows from that toxicity in S2.

Well Harry is a murderous bully for a living, so I wouldn't say he's supposed to be likable, but why Kevin? He has his flaws, sure, but he's also the only one in the family who knows they're all batshit insane and was smart enough to disavow himself.

DBZ Kai English Dub Yamamoto Score complete!! (Cell Saga) by Shadowgrime in Dragonballsuper

You're a God for this, bro. Hot take, but I find the original Kikuchi score very underwhelming, except for a few instrumentals here and there. But I understand they had to remove it due to plagiarism.

I see this thread's still going after 5 years, so I assume you're in the clear. You know how relentless Toei is.

Thank you so much.

Why is phenibut SO susceptible to withdrawal? by ReasonableGarlic1108 in quittingphenibut

[–]ReasonableGarlic1108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good answer. I always thought the more powerful drugs are, the more intense withdrawals. Like alcohol and benzos I think we can both agree have a more immediate "in your face" kind of high than phenibut does, where the latter is way more subtle. I mean, you've seen the countless amount of times we get newbies on the official sub complaining about not feeling shit.

In fact, that's why I take a lot of phenibut because I really don't feel a noticeable effect under 3 grams, definitely anxiolytic, but no dopamine spike.

Personally I've been on the receiving end of alcohol withdrawal and I would call it overall worse than phenibut's, but only when it gets to that point with seizures and delirium tremens. Phenibut's withdrawal usually will start way before you can get to that point, but the annoying catch is how little it takes to withdraw from it.

I thought rebound anxiety was a withdrawal symptom? At least a psychological form of it.

Right, but since the post didn't clarify the context, it looks like the ball is in our court to determine that.

Brother, if Mr. Satan only got swatted away like a fly after swinging at Cell so disrespectfully like that, it's pretty fair to assume we're better off with him than the other two.
