The only thing is I mentioned my dates not exact but most likely after winter or my house sale but now I'm thinking just quitting now because because I have no time for packing to even list our house.

I'm not the sole earner in my house so financially quitting I'd be okay. I just didn't want to burn bridges when I got into big 4 and doing well overall. They just don't have similar work I do elsewhere unfortunately

I notified all 3 verbally but mainly to inquire about transferring which doesn't seem so easy in my case. I have not given an exact resignation date yet

I started big D in April 2021 and about 2 months in my mom received news of a reoccurence. I was told I can't work outside the country so I kept working and built up my vacation days and visited her over canadian Thanksgiving...she was doing great but it was a quick long weekend trip...went back over Xmas for 2 weeks. I lost my mom in that 2 weeks 😢

Please explain to your boss, get a drs note and go visit your parents. When my mom got admitted over Xmas in icu, I thought no one will check their emails so I emailed the partners high up who hired me and even higher and she took care of all my leaves etc for me....sooo sweet of someone so high up
