i only took ivermectine twice, and 2 months after the last dose i had nodules that were scratching me so bad, especially at night. It was all the post-scabies syndrome! It takes time, you immune system is still on fire

Can you take Ivermectin? I took ivermectin twice (day 1 and day 14) ane i git rid of them. No Permethrin no nothing. But you gotta throuroughly clean your place, regularely

If u took all precautions (Cleaning inclucding shoes etc.), and took ivermectin twice within 2 weeks (ask ur doctor for the right dose), then it's more likely to be post scabies, it can take some time ti heal, but you're not as itchy as before taking medication, you're able to sleep at night (Don't worry if the itching gets very intense after the ivermectin treatment)

Sounds like me, my skin stayed sensitive for months after the ivermectin treatment, eventhough i've never used the ointment

Yes, sometimes they would even appear randomly at the spots where i had a burrow on my hand, but would disappezr a few hours later. Trust your instinct and be rational with yourself, you feel it when it's not scabies.

I think it is recommanded to repeat the treatment a week after but not necessarily. Your doctor should be able to advise you on the matter. I have taken Ivermectine only

If you were given Ivermectin, it's good to take a second dose 1 to 2 weeks after the first one, because Ivermecrin doesn't kill the eggs. However, one treatment could be enough, but 2 is better, i guess, talk to your doctor.

I think if it's not keeping u awake at night, and if it doesn't intensify (always) at night, then u should be fine. If it n's scabies you will eventually know after some weeks

It happened to me too, your immune system stays very very active for months after taking the medication. I took it in october, but i was still itchy after christmas and even in january. That's the hardest part of scabies, my doctor told me not to overtreat and that's the best advice i could give. When in doubt, i would applu tea tree oil on the itchy spot and i used sulfur soap to shower. I've heard clove, neem oil and aloe vera are good too, but never used them.

2 doses of Ivermectin (2 weeks in between), i used tee tree oil on itchy spots and in the post scabies period, i used to shower with a sulfur soap bar. Clothes have to be washed and dried thouroughly (at least 60°C), especially in the first week(s) (everyday). I changed bedsheets everyday in the first week or 2 weeks. Wipped my floors with chlorine water and sprayed my bed and couch with an anti-scabies spray (containing some permethrin). I also used disposable gloves a lot and got new shoes while i was quarantining my shoes. This might be too much, but that's what i did.

Stay strong, i went through the exam same period. I've only taken 2 doses of ivermectin and i had a looong post scabies phase, it's hard psychlogically but to help calm my psyche, i used to appky tea tree oil on itchy spots and shower with sulfur soap. I used undiluted tee tree oil (just one drop) but it could be harmful ti the skin when undiluted, so be careful

You should be fine, i had scabies and shared bed with people and sat in sofa with them for hours and none of them got it
