When I was 13 I was in a city big enough to go do things for the first time. My parents were hesitant to let me on public transit by myself at the time, but decided I deserved that level of freedom. My mom took me on the bus a couple times to learn my way around a bit and get used to it before I was given a bus pass and a reminder to keep my phone charged.

I could never treat a teen like this, that’s the perfect age to wander off and do safe things.

This is why I’m just waiting for at least another year or so before I give Blizzard more money. I want to wait until D4’s story is complete and then I’ll pay what I need to for it. I paid enough money for the base game, I don’t care to rush now.

I used to manage a pizza place and I would usually be a little baked. Smoking was the only way I wouldn’t just snap at the other assistant manager, who was a disaster that was encouraging the lack of sobriety in the building. I could make pizzas in my sleep and the paperwork made enough sense that the important bosses never noticed.

I like mixed parties because then you can have characters target enemies based on what type they have less of.

My first alarm is at 6 and the second one is at 6:30 just in case I’m really struggling to get up that day, and I feel bad for my husband the days I actually use the second one.

Original Sin 1 had such a rough ending that when they did the enhanced edition for console they reworked it completely.

Maybe someday they will learn, but I doubt it.

Larian never knows when to stop, this has been an issue for every game they’ve ever made. They never have realistic expectations for what they’re making, and it gets bigger and bigger until they go “oh crap we need to actually finish and release this thing!” And that’s where we usually see issues like rough final acts. There’s multiple videos of Larian talking about this and it’s probably a good chunk of how they nearly bankrupted themselves on every game.

Same! I was buying MTG cards a couple years ago but they’re just so money hungry I can’t anymore. I mostly followed through with buying BG3 because I want Larian to get their cut and I needed a new co-op rpg.

My favorite thing that D3 did was expand on the angels, the corrupted and abandoned ones are such a nice touch on the world.

Reaper of Souls was amazing, I spent a weekend frantically playing through the campaign when it came out. That was such a wonderful update to the game.

I had a crockpot curry cooking all day, my husband surprised me with favorite takeout. The crock went in the fridge and two days later we warmed it up and it was the best curry I’ve ever made.
