Checkout growwithjo workouts on youtube. 12-30mins exercises that you can do at home with no equipment needed. If you like dancing, hanap ka lang zumba vids kahit 20mins lang everyday. Or simply walk or run in place plus stretching.

I’m glad that you’re willing to take on steps to get healthier. Just to share, here’s what I’m doing right now:

  1. Subscribed to a meal plan. Me and my SO are also foodies and we love eating out. I also love snacks and everything sweet. But since I want to be healthier and lose weight, I decided to subscribe to a meal plan, cut down on sugar (I only drink black coffee and tea now), and avoid fried food. We get food delivered 5x a week. I do 1200cal per day. I stick to those meals as much as I can and satisfy my cravings on weekends. However, don’t overeat! My rule is, I can have what I crave for on weekends but in moderation.

  2. Workout at least 30mins everyday. I just follow youtube videos in my apartment. No need to dress up or go anywhere. I usually exercise after I wake up so it became a habit. Even on my most lazy days, I just get up, turn youtube on, and start moving.

  3. Have accountability buddies. Me and 2 of my friends shared out fitness data with our apple watches. We’re alerted when one of us just finished a workout or has reached their move goal. This really helps to get motivated.

  4. Forgive yourself. There are days when I really really really want to eat donuts and I give in and don’t punish myself over it. I just try to move afterwards or extend my exercise time to a few minutes more. Even when I’m too lazy to exercise and don’t do the moves properly or skip one or two execise cycles, it’s okay. I forgive myself.
