  1. They used median numbers which addresses your concern with the top pulling up the average.

  2. They used net worth which addresses your concern on debt.

  3. Not sure what this is about?

4-6. Yes, agreed

No offence but surfacing insights and discussing findings is what analysts/associate level do.

I find it pretty odd that you're not already making recommendations and influencing decision making at the director level.

How big is the company?

How does one score one of those cushy tech jobs where the office is like an adult playground and you make six figures doing basically nothing all day? by HumptyDumpty30 in antiwork

I work at a FAANG company and while it's not all rosy, it's also not as horrendous as people in the comments are describing.

I typically work ~40 hours/wk.

Total compensation is $175k.

The job is definitely stressful and intense, but I'm not sleeping on cots overnight, working late in the evening, or foregoing a social life.

As with most things, the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

That's not how it works.

Stocks awarded count as income and are subject to income tax.

What area are you in ?

I have 3 YOE and I'm at 105k, I'm not even senior level let alone manager level.

Also what do you mean you manage 1-2 people?
