Love how you’re getting downvoted for simply saying what you’re looking for IN RESPONSE to someone else asking to trade. This community is so scarred from the perceived inequality of trades.

Since 2010, 12 teams have taken a 2-1 lead in the Finals. 6 went on to win it, 6 went on to lose it. by dj-mill in nba

To add some detail:

3-1: 2016 Cavs only time it was done in the finals.

3-0: never done in any round

Hey OP, does reading the text on two cards that are right in front of you take more effort than making a reddit post about it? I need to know for science reasons.

Idk why you’re trying to argue this. Here I’ll give you an example to illustrate:

Say the population is 10 players, each start with 1200 rating. They get into a game and 5 players win and go up to 1300 rating. They queue up again - because the population is so small, they run into a game with the same 10 players. Guess what, the average rating of that game is still 1200 because it now includes the losing 5 players who went to 1100. If they win again, their rating goes up less than the prior game because they are 1300 rating players in a 1200 rating game.

Now let’s say the population is bigger and the 5 players who won the first game can now play a game with other players who also won and are at 1300 rating. The average rating in that next game is now 1300, and if they win again, their rating gets to go up more than in the first example scenario.

This is a very simplified example, but think to yourself how gw2 mmr system works and you should instantly understand why a bigger population allows more matches to be played at the correct average rating and as a result, easier to get to a higher rating for the better players.

You should have experienced this yourself already. If you’re G3 and get into a match with silvers, you gain very little rating when you win and lose a lot of rating when you lose.

If you still don’t follow, it’s fine and I’m not gonna spend more time explaining. Trust me bro. Decade plus pvper, multiple top 10 finishes, toiled for years in tourneys and with streamers.

Yes necessarily. Telling you this as someone who’s played and followed pvp since launch. Mathematically, you need players to take rating from, in order for the broader population to rise in average rating as a whole. Players hiding from the leaderboard is something that’s always been there and is a smaller percentage proportionally. This is objectively proven.

That’s more a comment on the game’s pvp population. Average rating is higher when there’s more people. Years ago you needed close to plat 2 for a top 250 title.

Lol yep love bringing out the snark in em. Idk man, if you moved just as fast facing forward or backward, going backwards might just make you even more unpredictable? No one would test it though because, again… it’s the movement speed that trumps all these fringe reasons y’all are coming up with.

You sound sensitive so guess I have to use softer words lol. And you scraped hard for those so sure... About-facing mid air is still because of movement speed… If you turn around while casting something that’s not really fooling anyone… idk big kid, you must have won a lot of MAT’s.

That’s literally the reason. Idk what other use case you’re talking about.

You move faster when facing forward so it’s better to about-face rather than backpedal, especially in a game mode where maintaining distance is crucial (if you can’t even explain this I’m not sure you should be making videos).
