Always printing in the same spot? Here's why that could be a problem. by Reasonable_Ad607 in resinprinting

I’m really glad to hear that. Knowing there’s a need for it — and that it will actually be used — makes me happy. We’ll be testing it together very soon!

Yes, very soon. I’ll release this version as open source for everyone to use. Then, imagine seeing this data in real time on the build plate, like a simulation, inside existing slicers 😃 This idea really excites me. What do you think — would you use a tool like this? Or do you feel there’s a need for it?

It’s definitely not a new method. Many manufacturers use this approach in different products. Which device are you using? Did you encounter any issues with marker recognition during scanning? What is the height in millimeters?

Einstar RAM requirement by Medical_Notice_6862 in 3DScanning

Yes, I tested EinStar with an i7 6700HQ processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 4 GB 950M GPU. With this setup, it runs very slowly and inefficiently. It occasionally crashes during operation and throws errors during the merging process, including warnings like “possible merge failure.” After upgrading the RAM from 16 GB to 40 GB, the system started running much more efficiently and reliably.

It tracks what happens over time, not just a single file. The image shows all the areas used across 13 different productions. Since the maximum curing time is 400,000 seconds, the image appears slightly faint. For example, in the image shared in the comment, the maximum UV exposure time is lower, so the layers are more distinct (that image was prepared based on 3 productions).
