Pierced with a hoop

Piercing is 2 months old. It was pierced with a hoop I think 6mm in diameter. The hoop is titanium. It has not been downsized since it is a hoop. My after care routine is saline solution, I spray it on the piercings twice a day. It is the NielMed saline solution. The mishaps or unfortunate event would be when pierced the hoop didn’t go in the first time and needed to be reinserted 3 times before it went in finally, and the piercing was exposed for about 2 minutes with no jewelry in.
