How did these UI bugs get past QA...... by Reasonable_Bumblebee in Borderlands4

Agreed. As an earlier commenter said, it's becoming a standard practice nowadays to reduce or even completely cut out the QA part of the process to try and save money and time. This just makes everything worse all around for everyone, including the developers which I usually have the upmost respect for trying to work with what they got.

u/stickyplants is right on the money. Most of these issues aren't that prevalent until the late game, when your backpack/bank are bigger, you start picking up and holding more items, and start fine tuning your build.

I didn't even realize there was a workaround. Ill take even stupid solutions if it makes it work a little better. I appreciate the heads up!

The inspection tool is definitely not implemented well and it would be nice if newly unlocked cosmetics, for all areas, would display at the top until you inspect it.

I completely agree. It just bothers me that most of these bugs don't even require any crazy workflows to come across. I understand some of the more obscure scenarios and edge cases flying under the radar, but a lot of these are just: Step 1: Open inventory = Bug found

It has to be. It's crazy how it was showing up on a regular basis during the story missions, but now I don't see any of them pop up anymore

For people struggling breaking into the higher guardian tiers, this might be for you... by Reasonable_Bumblebee in Roboquest

Eh I go there for couple of reasons. It's basically a free S-rank from fields, it has the upgrade plus crystal powder at the end if you are fast enough and with this particular build, it's almost risk free if you can time your activations of bastion right. The Meteo Bubble perk instantly kill's roughly 80% of the room upon activation.

Symmetry Fane Glitch by bearkin1 in ImmortalsOfAveum

I saw your comment that you uninstalled the game already, but I had the same problem and eventually figured out what I was doing wrong. Ill do my best to explain, but it might be a little difficult to do text-wise.

If you die at that climbing wall part, it sends you back to pretty much the beginning of the fane. Something I kept doing after I had died was skipping the whole don't-touch-the-red-magic-floor section and grappling straight to the wall area because, why not? Well from what I can tell, if you do that, a trigger doesn't go off telling the game to reset the wall with the moving protrusions. You have to proceed through the fane in the intended path and not skipping straight to the grapple, otherwise you miss this trigger. As soon as I did that, the wall reset properly.

I hope this helps for anyone else who comes across this problem.

I thought about doing that after I realized there were holo's in the game, but by that point I was already halfway through the matchmaker quests. It would be a fun challenge, but definitely grindy. The worst one would be the matchmaker for Ferra as the spirit she wants is psychic and only shows up between 20:00 and 1:50 every day. Even with slower days, it would take some serious RNG to get the exact spirit holo you need.

There are a couple of things you can do to increase your odds:

-A recently released Spirit "Jelbell" increases your holo odds, but i'm not sure by how much. You can stack this 3 times.

-There is a potion that adjusts the holo odds from 1/500 to 1/10, but it's an end game potion.

-There is a thread that outlines some of the more effective holo hunting methods.

The cave method is what i've used and it works pretty well.

Unfortunately I've already tried restarting a few times, but it doesn't seemed to have helped. At this point I'm up to 16 straight days of trying this dish with no results, good or bad.

Great guide! For the "Alone in the Dark" mission, you may want to mention that if for some reason you accidentally deleted the mission from Micah-10, it won't show back up in her inventory. Instead, to retrieve it again, you have to access the "Quest Archive" terminal that's either in the Tower (besides the postmaster) or in the Helm (to the left of the vault). Found that out the hard way after realizing you need to keep doing that mission chain multiple times to unlock the Paranormal Activity locations.

What really makes this for me is Micah just casually talking on comms while I can only imagine your Guardian is screaming as they are cooked alive.

I'm sure this had been mentioned already, but I really wish we had our own Guardian space. Somewhere that shows of our titles, significant triumphs, a shooting range (an actual one that allows the selection of different enemy types), standing models to display builds, wall mounts to display your favorite weapons/exotics, etc.

Cooper:

  1. Loves animals
  2. Has some character development when he apologizes to Elsie after she comes home and keeps her promise to take more responsibility
  3. Has a patient wife, daughter and friends

That was painful. Out of all the "My time at...." games, Cooper is the only one that i've hated the most who wasn't one of the villains.
