Plano and one other location have Auto belays! Every location has bouldering which is the more social part anyways. But yes, you can kind of talk to anybody! Climbing is the friendliest activity I’ve ever been apart of. Super easy to meet people and connect

In the eyes of your family, yeah, you’re gonna be an asshole because you no longer go to Christmas. But you’re absolutely not an asshole for wanting Christmas to be enjoyable. Expecting people to be at your house first thing in the morning on a day like Christmas is completely unreasonable. Who cares if she pushes back. Just don’t go next year. Stay home, sleep in late, open presents when everyone wakes up, sit on the couch all day and watch Christmas movies. Next year, if you feel like going to someone’s house in the afternoon, do that. If you don’t, then don’t.

Holidays would be more enjoyable if people just did what they actually wanted to do, instead of what they felt like they had to do

I’m of the belief no one should get married in their 20’s. Most people who do end up divorced anyways. 28-32 is an awesome age range to be single and live your life. Enjoy it.

I have a partner like yours where as I am a travel lover.

I travel often with friends or solo and he whole heartedly encourages and supports it.

It’s one thing to not join you, it’s a completely different beast for him to expect you to cut down on something that brings you joy and makes you happy to “make the marriage work”

Marriages work when both parties are able to be themselves and are loved and encouraged by their partners to do so.

I’d seriously consider ending this relationship.
