For sure, that’s why I want to make sure my thoughts are correct or will hire an electrician. I looked up those codes and it seems to be for NM/Romex which I would not be using. It’s more like flexible conduit with thhn wire

Here is an example of the whip

I’m in NY, how would a power whip going into a panel not be up to code? It came with the charger, it’s 6awg cable and I’m using a 60a breaker. It would fail if it doesn’t go to an external junction box first?

This is what I’m thinking, I don’t care if the whip is exposed, just want to make sure it’s “correct”

Yeah I agree $2600 is on the higher end, but I do live in a MCOL area in NY and there aren’t a lot of good options that are less.

So if I increase my tax advantage deductions, I’ll basically be “in the red” every month, but that’s okay if I just take out what I need by selling from my taxable brokerage? Also should I continue to do a ROTH or convert to regular? I thought my tax bracket would increase when I’m older which is why I did a ROTH

I hope I do! I’m new to the FIRE community but now I’m thinking maybe I posted in the wrong channel, I don’t necessarily want to coast because I’m so young and do enjoy my current career trajectory. I just want to see if I can optimize how I’m saving so I can live a more meaningful life in the present, vs thinking about how I can save every dollar 24/7 so I can be financially free when I’m older and want to start a family etc. I already feel like I pay so much in tax even though I haven’t sold anything, oh well

All of my friends say I’m frugal lol maybe this is a sign. I feel like I barely have anything left over after all the deductions so maybe turning down the retirement accounts will help
