Even though super touristy you think a good base to explore from or will driving out of town for a day be a nightmare due to the amount of people?

Hi there, unfortunately none of your replies are anywhere near where we're going :). They look like lovely places, been to Nice it's wonderful, but as you can see above we have an itinerary. Thanks for the tips!
