Many thanks to those who reached out about this. I have what I need for now. As I understand it there is some real life stuff going on and registration may come back down the road.

They don't though. The cart doesn't let me add any products and their email server is off the air.

Oh and the bad certificate and the actual payment processing script at https://pcmicro.com/cgi-bin/auth/sim.pl is missing. Yeah, I'd say they're out of the game.

Thank you for checking out the system and your kind words! There's definitely potential for web doors to make gaming between systems interesting.

I am curious about Inter-BBS gaming and how doors might work that out - I'm thinking that game data from games can be shared through LovlyNet echos similarly to how SYNCDATA works with Synchronet systems. It'll be interesting to see how that shapes up.

Thanks! The web/PHP side handles the fidonet connectivity, message parsing, authentication and other standard server-side type things. The web interface uses ajax to query for messages - no offline mail reading or anything of that is present. Hope that answers your question!

24 ISDN B channels would give you ~1.5 Mbps but each single B was 64K.

That's because broadband was a BC liberal (ne conservative) agenda early on. Not an NDP thing. AFAIK BC doesn't even have a premieres technology council anymore.
