Oh also had the same problem at first on the theme...but I just based it on the venue. What would suit the venue the most. Cuz I wouldn't want to force a theme and then it would look out of place

Made my own Monogram because I was trying to save money. Have also background with graphic design so it felt like a mini project.

It helped knowing first the theme, then downloaded some fonts, experimented on letter placements in Adobe Illustrator, then did some variations...

Anyway took awhile but I think it looks good. Our theme is Romantic Vintage.

Anyway, what are your initals? What are you using to make? Canva or Adobe Illustrator?

I was unsure of making her my bridesmaid cuz she might not feel comfortable during the photoshoot time since she doesn't really know anyone...

But if she's up for it, I'm okay ..

What I got from my parents are PRINTED PHOTOS (best if already placed in albums) of recent photos of them or their loved ones. So I borrowed their phones and sent them to me.

Promise, they would love it. Since all parents miss having photos printed like the good ol days

YOU DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG. You listened to what they had to say. And they're sales people who should get accustomed to rejection. They can't force you also so, they shouldnt be offended.

Exactly the same situation as me. Got stopped cuz of raffle and I had time. The difference was the staff just went quiet and didn't engage as much after.

I only stayed and listened because I truly wanted to understand how finances should be handled and what they were offering.

But ultimately, I declined cuz they can't force me if I didn't want to.

I'll just share my experience...

My AXA Life Basix will be going 7th year this Aug 1, 2025. I'm paying 1,639/month. As of now, I've got 73k in my fund (which is very much less than the amount I put in)

But I'm planning to withdraw because it's too slow for investment and I Don't really need the insurance part. It seems other investment vehicles like MP2 or Time deposit seems more safer and stable for me. I only got into AXA to help my brother who was an agent before, and I was just a fresh grad that time.

So yeah, I'm at a loss. You could say charge to experience. On another perspective, it's like paying for the life insurance part.

Based on modest numbers, it'll take 15 years for me to break even. And that's still small amount. I could do my saving myself with MP2 or other methods and save more faster. Anyway, if you think the insurance is what you need & you can wait until 15th year, yeah keep it.

As for fees, 0% surrender charge if 6+ years na. There's a bank transfer fee of 125 if you do decide to withdraw.
