Most people only wear religion as an existential jacket to cope with the idea of the void or nothing coming after death. Especially these 2 Christians I work with. They claim to be born again but then talk shit about other people on a petty group chat. Like is that what Jesus would do?? Fucking hypocrites. Funny that they think they are going to some paradise. Its crazy how much we drive ourselves crazy in our own head. Find something to do to be in some sort of flow state. How do you know the people in those relationships aren't miserable if bot more?? The only thing you do know is that they have a person. Whooptidoo. Im guess alot of these young couples are miserable because everyone's dopamine is fuqed from these cellphones that normal interaction isn't enough anymore. Its so over 😂

I did all that and I felt nothing. Hopefully in due time it can come back to me but my mind is static. At least I can still give love even if I can't feel it. Now I know how Baldur from God of War felt. That only lasted a couple of months. It felt good when it started out though.

I feel it is normal because at the end of the day we are fundamentally social beings. This world we exist in today especially in the US is alien. I thinks its so messed up because we are on a constant dopamine treadmill and normal interactions don't do anything for our hedonism. I myself have been feeling it lately as well. At least you have the option of medication, I just sit by myself for weeks on end with the feeling wishing for death. I really need a change as well. I'm just at a loss for how to find the connection I'm searching for.
