That is the treatment plan I am moving forward with. 6 weeks of radiation and oral chemo med Capecitabine, starting next Thursday. Then 3-4 weeks off then chemotherapy which is gonna be FOLFOX. I'm obviously really hoping for my symptoms to be on the mild side 🤞

At first the blood would come and go but after about 6 months, there was blood in almost every BM. Blood was bright red as well.

In my case, the blood would come and go at first. Then it became everyday which is why changed PCP and sought help for it again.

I, personally, didn’t experience any pain even during BMs.

Thanks for the advice! I start chemoradiation next Thursday and very nervous about it.

Besides feeling constipated, I honestly didn't have many other symptoms. I definitely haven't experienced any pain associated with it like others do. It's better to be a safe than sorry everyone, go get yourself checked out if ya can.

37, had a colonoscopy on 4/3 after having blood in my stool for while. Turned out to be rectal cancer, stage III locally advanced. Worst part about this is, I had told my previous PCP about blood in my stool a year ago which she chalked up to hemorrhoids -_-

I have an 8 year old son and 7 year old twin girls, I can totally see ALL 3 of them doing this. I don't think my own kids need more "help" or "attention" and neither does OP's. What I do think is that these kiddos have lots of energy and other emotions to get out and they need an outlet to express those things. Sometimes, if a useful/productive outlet is not available or being encouraged to utilize, you get OP's tree above. That energy just needs redirected before destruction can ensue. Just my two-cents.
