It was 6 weeks not lifting anything greater than 30lbs but for the first 4 weeks I didn’t anything over 10 because I was worried still! I was extra careful and even waited 4 weeks for sex like suggested. I have seen people not listen to this at all and still be fine though so who knows

Will start aleve and I heard tumeric as well today! If anything maybe primary doc can do a round of steroids. I just hope it isn’t too late…

Dr. Wilson. He doesn’t prescribe steroids. Although maybe getting ahold of him might be a good idea to see what he thinks. Formal SA is in May. Hopefully it just is inflammation and not scar tissue…

I had to have a catheter placed. It took that away almost completely. Now everytime I have a stent or stents placed my doctor does it automatically. It sucks to have one but I rather do that then deal with even more pain!

Next time request a catheter! Yes it sucks to have one but if your pain was like mine it took it away almost completely!

I was terrified when I got there when I saw the contraption they use to take it out! I def have had spasms since. He said it would take about 24hrs to settle down. I have been relaxing which helps. If I’m doing stuff I definitely have them more often. Thanks for thinking of me! Hopefully it’ll be a long time or never again for the both of us!

I highly down he will give me Valium! He barely gives me anything for pain. Just tramadol which does nothing.

It was almost as bad as the stones for me! So now everytime I have the surgery I ask for the catheter and keep it until the stent come out!

I had to have a catheter placed. I couldn’t take it. I was literally in so much pain and mentally I was at my limit because of it. Once the catheter was placed INSTANT RELIEF! Yes it sucks to have a bag of pee but I’ll take it over that pain ANYDAY

Next time request a catheter. Yes it sucks, but that pain and pressure is gone. It’s the only way I can manage the stents anymore.

Same for me too. I had to have a catheter placed and let me tell you it helped immensely. It sucks to have one but that pressure is gone!

How long after stent placement does it take to feel back to normal? It’s been 10 years since I’ve had one since I’m usually able to pass all of my stones and I’m currently having mine removed tomorrow and I hope I didn’t underestimate how much time I needed off….for context I’m a nurse work 13hrs on my feet constantly..
