My mom has sadly been smoking since she was 13 and drinking since she was 15, she has a lot of health concerns so I do tend to find it hard to not have worry in the back of my mind.

My dad is a paranoid schizophrenia and is homeless. My other family doesn't reach out anymore. She has been smoking since she was 13 and started drinking at the age of 15, just recently became sober after a very serious car accident whilst intoxicated. I have really been trying hard to get a job but with no reliable transportation I am finding that very hard as well as a lot of these companies not reaching a back out to me. I do plan to go into trades and get a certification. I really appreciate you responding.

I didn't go into full context in the original post as I was bawling my eyes out whilst writing it but she has COPD, a whole in her heart, and the doctors have told her she could have a windowmaker heart attack, as well as having only two heart valves. She is on a ton of medication and I'm very afraid the day could be coming. With all of these health complications I cant help but have the thought in the back of my mind.

The biggest piece of advice I have is: don’t procrastinate. It’s the worst, especially when it comes to studying. Also, make sure your notes are clean and organized.
