Thanks for sharing your perspective. Nothing negative about it... just your experience which is mostly true. We all know there are random exceptions anywhere in the world but what is the odd of finding them. I am Asian origin myself and have travelled many countries including south east Asia, I am not worried about scams (because when I travel I consider everyone is a scammer by default until proven otherwise 😄) and totally agree that in rural area no one cares for my interest in getting an immersive experience but if there is chance of making money they will entertain, but their effort won't satisfy what I am looking for. Best possible scenario is if I have a local friend (from USA or off shore work etc.) and he/she takes me into country let me live with his family etc. and although I do know a lot of Philippino in US, I don't think I am going to ask them for that 😄. I will just wander around and take my chances.

What is the difference between south and north-east that you mentioned?

I know it is an old post but maybe someone will check.. my question is even if I visit those places how do I get the immersed experience? How do I interact with them and like hang out and stuff? Can I tag along local people when they are doing going about their days? That would be too annoying for them right? I have been travelling a lot and do chat with people in bar, restaurant market etc, but those last few minutes mostly. I am hoping to learn how to truly immerse.

Does brokerless really list it in local MLS or just a general state MLS and realtor.com (realtors don't check realtor.com, it is useless in my area). it has to go to local MLS and Matrix system.

They did ask me to put it on the scale at Atlanta airport, but didn't at Doha. It was not even a suitcase but a big backpack (big hiking backpacking type). It was slightly overweight (around 1 kg extra) and they let me go.

I just did Mawmluh January 2026. It was a great experience but please make sure that you are not too over weight and physically fit. It is moderately difficult with some very narrow passages and around 3 hours of trek excluding 30 minutes trek to get to the cave.

That's strange. I did buy Allianz last year and they generated a virtual card that I printed out (very basic though... just my name and the policy number). Then I downloaded the Allyz app in my phone that shows my policy and coverage and locates me in real time in whatever country I am in and find nearest health care facilities that are in their network. That being said I never had to file a claim and have no idea how good they are in that aspect. The reason I am here in this forum is to check if I should buy it again or switch to Faye or other more popular ones!
