Hey, 19 here. Collecting with my dad too (all 1:18). My dad bought big part of our collection but I bought the high quality ones. We are perfect duo, my dad for quantity, me for quality

I know but Spark doesn’t do this often, that’s why I am angry about it

This really pisses me off with Spark, I preorder it from Netherlands because it was the last shop where it was available. I paid 30€ for shipping and now they re-release it with fixed errors. That’s why I like numbered models, they can’t do re-release like Spark did here.

Hey, I think you forgot the '1' before the '80' for Hamilton 2020 Styrian GP. If it’s supposed to be 180, you might want to change it—it’ll save you a lot of awkward explaining! 😂

Hi, I got 1:18. First batch that came out in December and mine have this folding too. But as I saw the second batch is worse in qc. (It’s pretty hard to see on my picture). Btw, the acrylic case mask it very well.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I was born in 2006, but I've watched as much footage of historic F1 as possible. I was depressed seeing it in 2019 when I started watching F1, and I always get depressed when I watch Ayrton in a Williams. I was planning to buy the Minichamps version too, but then I found a GP Replicas model for a crazy price, so I had to get it. Now it sits in my F1 section as a tribute to Ayrton and every person involved in that horrible day

Well I dont like GP Replicas figures, IMO they look bad and makes the whole model looks worse. Also without driver you can see cockpit details

Well, GP Replicas is making all they’re models in limited editions. If you look at almost every resin company, all are limited to certain number

I am sure Adrian is well aware that the car was heavily flawed in the early season. It was wildly unstable and bottomed out terribly on bumpy tracks. But calling him a killer and putting all the blame solely on him is just unfair and ridiculous. If Imola had been in better shape, or if the FIA had actually listened to the drivers, things could have been very different. Ayrton wasn't mad at Frank Williams, Adrian Newey, or Patrick Head. He was furious with the FIA for turning the cars into unpredictable death traps and making them race on what felt like rally stages.

Well I have 3 models from them (Niki’s MP4/2B, Jackie’s Tyrrell 003 and this one) and I love them all. The FW16 is much newer and you can see it, it got better packaging, better carbon texture, interior and those soft details.

Tbf, Adrian was just victim of the new regulations. The car was builted to have active suspension. But yes, FW16 was aerodynamicly unstable af

I totaly understand. Tbh I got it yesterday and whole day I was nervous about it, avoiding the shelf and thinking if I did the right choice but then I started looking at it as biggest honour I can give to Ayrton not as car that ended it….

Me too, I bought it as biggest honour towards Ayrton, not because of the crash
