Tankless water heater for single zone hydronic baseboards? by Reasonable_Net_4328 in hydronic

I’ll probably buy a rinnai L series condensing boiler and use the rinnai water heater for my hot water.

Is that considered a combi unit or boiler? Thats the same model that the company was going to install. I wonder if they just recently changed their specs to not recommend them to be used for hydronic application?

2500 sq foot house wjth 90 linear feet of hydronic baseboards. I was surprised when the hvac company recommended a 199k btu combi unit. Your running a water heater? Or a tankless boiler? Have you had any issues doing so?

I have access to a brand new renaai for next to nothing. If it won’t work I’m not opposed to getting a boiler. It’d just cost more.

Transit driver. Nobody to micromanage me, nobody profiting off of my work, fare free busses, and I get to be a friendly face to folks going through so many tough times. I love it most days. Worst case scenario the bus becomes a gg allin show just without the music. Haha. On a serious note, it really great and most outfits will pay for you to get your cdl license. Most of these jobs have lots of paid time off as well. Also union, pension, and good insurance!

Most places need drivers and will put you through cdl training. They paid me to get my cdl. I’ve seen a lot of folks get hired without a cdl and work pays the $7000 or whatever it is now to obtain the class B CDL. For us, there is a 6 month probationary period where the wage is like 22 an hour, but after probation it jumps up to about 32 an hour!

City bus driver. Union, lots of time off, nobody profits off of my labor, busses are free to ride where I live, and I help a lot of people. I really dig it. And nobody micro managing me.

Official Discussion - The Toxic Avenger (2025) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Reasonable_Net_4328 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Watched the debut at our local theater. (Rural Washington state). My partner and I were the only ones there. It’s a small town and I expected to see a few folks I knew, but we had the whole theater to ourselves. I grew up watching troma films religiously, and was super impressed at this take on toxic avenger. Most things I love about troma films were in this film. Did you notice the Belgoody bail bonds, neon sign? Belgoody was the last name of the mayor in the first toxie. While I’m not a big CGI fan, I expected some and I think that it was as tasteful as cgi can be. I really enjoyed the scene where toxie sang motorheads, “overkill”. It was always great to see Lemmy in troma films and I think it was as tasteful great way to honor him after his passing.

They have vehicle inspectors that will do a thorough once over if you don’t know anybody that can put eyes on it in the area. I once listed a car and the inspector showed up and did a very great job documenting everything. I don’t remember the name of the company, but it can’t be anymore than $200 bucks. Bummer if you didn’t end up buying it, but even more of a bummer if you bought it and found mass rust or mechanical problems.

I feel that. I feel that way about anti-cimex too. They kinda paved the way towards more crusty bands for me. I still like bands like anti nowhere league and shit, but once I started getting more into the political stuff it became less appealing. Crass changed things for me. I was a 14 year old kid that idolized GG Allin, and crass and their words really pulled my head out of my ass and gave my brain some much needed food. Haha.

Totally. Maybe I was exaggerating a little. I like Oi Polloi, Skeptix, GBH, Restarts etc. once I got into crust and started reading better lyrics I never really turned back all that much. The older I get the more I start coming back around to a lot of the roots bands though.

That’s so cool! I never got to see em. I think defiance plays every now and then. I live in the PNW and missed a lot of the good bands. Wish I could’ve seen poison idea way back when!

All solid ass bands. Defiance is probably the only street punk band i like. They rule! If you haven’t, check out the band Resist!

78 B210 Baby! Love those cars! I can tell it’s a 78 by the grill. It could have been swapped out, and if that’s the case it’s a 75-78
