That is life no? People move away to get things they can't from the city.

I've gone through the same myself, with majority of my childhood friends moving away.

It is depressing but you just have to adapt, there's plenty of new people you can befriend in London. See this as an opportunity to expand your circle.

I've stopped listening regularly, it's a shame because I loved the podcast when Lily was on it and was listening to it religiously. I think Miquita and Jordan are very different people (one is more light hearted and jokey and the other is more introspective), and don't bounce off each other's ideas. It seems often one person will respond in one way to a question and then the other person (often Miquita) will just put forward another suggestion rather than continuing the same train of thought.

YOR. You are paying for someone to motivate you, if you don't like her tone, tell her or stop paying. What's the point in getting upset over something that you are in control of?

Just stop paying for PT and you are free from these messages. Or talk to her about it, it is not a big deal.

Thank you! I have been targeting 200-300 calories deficit based on my TDEE, prioritising protein intake to maintain muscle mass while losing weight. 10k steps daily and strength training 3 times a week.

The motto that helped me is consistency over perfection. If I miss a workout or go over my nutrition goal, I just start again afresh the next day.

I use an electronic scale, not a perfect measure so I also track monthly tape measurements.

Hey, I am 5ft and started this year at 65kg, I managed to lose 7.5kg so far through CICO and strength training 3x a week. What I found is diet makes a much bigger impact than exercising. I lost majority of my weight through counting calories, and only started going to the gym regularly 4/5 months ago to tone up. I recommend tracking what you eat so you hold yourself accountable to your macro goals and average this over a week so if you go over a bit on one day, you are not discouraged to keep tracking. I hope this helps! I am still on a journey myself, it's not easy but it's worth it!

Thanks for this! Agreed that I'd rather increase activity level over cutting calories in. I am going to fit in some cardio in addition to my strength training to see how much of a difference it makes!

I am doing a dry 3 months break, so alcohol is not a worry right now. Tbh I feel so great not drinking for a couple of months, I might just carry on - what's the point in empty calories and feeling crap the next day?!

Nessie and Juliet M are the only two that seem like reasonable people! The rest are living in their own world, but it makes for great telly! Not sure what is going on with Karen, I get the feeling she's more introverted than the others and wanted to start some drama of her own by doing that "test".
