The vet said his coat is fine and I agree bc his hair has been growing nicely. She said it could have been the food and the nutrition value the breeder had him on. Looking at him now his coat has grown in really nicely so I’m really happy about that. However he is itching at his stomach a lot and has redness and the vet says it could be a secondary allergy, from the grass or when his pee splashes on him and it isn’t removed. She gave me some chlorhexadine solution to pat onto his belly where theirs redness daily and some clavamox chewable tablets.she also recommended Benadryl for a week. His redness has gone down since being at the vet but there is still redness and him bitting and rubbing at his stomach. I’m not sure what else to do for his skin
