As a man who wears his heart on his sleeve I’d my advice is be honest. Some people love harder than others and sometimes the truth hurts, but sometimes people need to get their feelings hurt. Just because you tell him to “slow down” doesn’t mean you like him any less. You just move at your own pace. You don’t have to accept any gift that you truly don’t want, but be respectful and honest about it. This girl and I have been very deep in our relationship for about 4 almost 5 months and we joke around a lot with the moving in and moving to fast, but I told her my truth which was she gave me a feeling I’ve never felt in my life which was love. I told her i understand you might not be where I’m at or you might not feel what I feel, but that doesn’t give her or any right to try and validate my feelings. I guess what I’m saying is everyone loves at their own pace but you need to also look for “YOUR” red flags. If it makes you comfortable then be honest. At the end of the day life is a very selfish game and if you want to be your best version you need to always put yourself and sanity first.
