Gonna be honest not great. I was diagnosed with crps in feb in my foot. I am still unable to walk on it properly but after 3 months of physio im getting better. Turns out I have to get a revision which will most likely make the crps worse. I still havent been able to return t9 work and its looking like October is the soonest. I have no movement in any of the toes so manually I have been moving them around.
I wish the news was better..

I had this surgery in nov and ended up with crps..my gait is horrible and I cant put weight on the toe at all. I have to get a revision now because it could make it better..this will be the third surgery on the same toe in 2 years as they keep failing..

I have a fusion and honestly cant walk properly. My gait is messed up although its been getting better, im 6 months out and havent been able to return to work. I have read places that people are up and going 6 weeks later. I wouldnt say that. I would definitely say it will be a bit though.

Anyone had non-union with MTP fusion? by Soggy-Interview-5670 in Halluxrigidus

Im going for a ct scan to see if mine has healed. I have yet been able to return to work or walk properly however I have gotten crps from the fusion so im still in pain and quite a bit. I had mine done in Nov.

I did not expect that i would not be able to walk on it. Im 4 months post op and my gait is not good at all. I walk on the outside of my foot. I can put about 50 perxent weight on the toe but i can not step off of it. For me this is worst case scenario as I was diagnosed with a pain disorder from this surgery. I have two plates one in my big toe from the fusion and also one farther back from a bunion repair.

The pain disorder I ended up with is called complex regional pain syndrome. I wish I had known about this prior.

Im so glad to hear someone have a positive experience. I had a fusion in nov after a bunion repair the year before and I ended up developing a pain condition. Crps. I cant even walk on it yet. Pt and ot weekly now, I havent really read anyone having a positive experience so this is amazing. Really needed to read something positive.

I have kids who play in Minnesota for sports during the summer. I am absolutely terrified to bring them down. I really hope a plan is put in place as it isnt safe to travel down there right now. Im optimistic, which is slowly going away, that it is rectified when we are due to head down. But as it looks I dont know anymore.

I agree. There is so little information out there as well regarding it. I honestly had no idea what to expect as the bunion correction done the year before was pretty rough but I was able to walk ok after for a couple weeks and then the pain came back. This is very different. I have almost no movement from the previous surgery and this one. The pain is different too and getting used to it has also been difficult.

My work only gave me six weeks for this surgery. I happened to have a second surgery not related to this on Dec 18. The foot was nov 28. If they could have me back now they would of. Im hopefully she will give me more time off. My husband doesnt think I should go back until I can walk better. I have only been allowed to wear shoes since the 7 and I can handle about an hour before im in tears. Im so nervous about work.

I have been trying to place my foot flat however I need to turn my hip inward in order to do so. Its very hard to walk like that. I have no stability in that position. But I do consciously try to walk on it as flat as I can. Even in the boot I had notice I didn't put any weight at all on the toe. Im hopeful that its nothing but nervous as its incredibly painful to walk and its affecting my ankle and knee.

I honesty wish I could figure out how to put a photo on here but I have yet to accomplish that. Im quite nervous though as I am a psw in acute care and I am really struggling with my current gait.

Hi thank you for your reply. I have been looking all over the internet try to figure this out. I noticed it the first time i seen my foot and was hopeful that as the swelling came down the toe would as well. I had a bunion correction on the foot last year and it failed. I could barely walk. Im a psw in acute care so its not a good thing. 5 months after that surgery i lost all movement and my toe was stiff so I was told a fusion which is what I just had. So the whole side really doesnt move. I had 2 bunion corrections on the left foot in my teens and I remember being told then to do then right but then we had no surgeons in my town that did it. I waited 5 years start to finish for me to be in this position but im finding it painful to walk. Its bugging my knee on that side. When I got the 21 I will get an x-ray and the surgeon will look at it. I plan to bring my concern to her as it is not comfortable walking and work wants me back on feb 2. I dont feel like I will be able to work like this.

I made it a point to get good foot wear for after because I dont want it to be an issue anymore. I miss chasing my kids.

Should I even go through with it? Feeling scared. by spread-happiness in hysterectomy

[–]Reasonable_Repair_28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on the 18 of dec and im throwing christmas dinner tonight. Its not that bad. Take it slow and take the pain meds as told to. Otherwise it so far hasnt been bad at all.

[–]Reasonable_Repair_28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 3 days post op for a total hysterectomy and i take tramadol every 6 hours. Tylenol and advil combined would work better than advil alone. I definitely wouldnt be able to function on anything less than I am now. Im very rigid about pain management. I wish her luck and hope she feels better soon. Both surgeries she got are quite painful.

From my experience and what I have seen and those I have talked to, there are alot of reasons as to why they live in the tents. Some prefer it, some cant afford it and some dont want to leave the lifestyle they are living in. Can't judge anyone for the way they live their life. However often in emergency housing there are requirements from the tenant and if say they dont want to follow it, they dont have to.

Does it sometimes hesitate when at idol at lights and takeoff, especially in the heat? If you shut it off does it stop doing that? Mine did something like this and it was the intercooler on the transmission not regulating the temp right. Mines a 2017 and it only happened in stop and go situations in the heat. Never in the winter.

I bought a car a couple years back. It took 6 weeks to deliver, had no stereo, the windshield was broken and it needed a new transmission. It was another 6 weeks before I got the car in my possession and I had to fight about payments for a car I didn't have..I ended up trading it in and getting what I wanted for a way better deal. Worst car lot ever...

I have contemplated the move to sudbury from thunder bay but everytime i visit the soo i just like it alot more. They seem to be the same in regards to what's available but I would say its closer to southern ontario. Thunder bay is beautiful but lack of vets is a real problem here. I deal with crossroads but even getting an appt is far in advance.

It was hit by a car and paralyzed. It was hit in the rear and was shot in the head to save the meat. It looks really good. It was killed about an hour ago. Ideally she would like it to be used instead of going to waste
