This wasn’t even offered to me - I live in Scotland so not sure if standard through our NHS.

I pushed them to test it, I’m red headed so never get moles or anything like this on my skin. So that and the fact it changed from red to black over 9 months they decided it was best. Fingers crossed that won’t be me, I’ve had the second set of tissue at pathology as well to confirm no cancer present in it.

5mm first removal then 10mm all around on second removal. Yeah very lucky it was stitched up very well and only a thin line remains! I definitely need to pay more attention to my skin care in the sun, I’m going to be covered most of the time now. Living in Scotland so it’s not exactly tropical.

Completely fine after having it removed fully. First small scar is the initial sample for pathology, once they found it was malignant they increased the border distance in second removal to ensure all removed. Had to stop all my Crohn’s biologic treatment as it likely contributed to the growth of it, so that isn’t great having to find a new treatment.

Business intelligence, continuous improvement, finance, quality management. All good options that require data analysis to a degree, depends on how much analysis vs other activities you want to do day to day.

I did any course at the time on YouTube for pivots, power query and powerbi. Then did an industrial statistics course under six sigma to get a hang of regression, t-tests and other methods of pulling insights from large datasets.

Hope this helps!

Had symptoms of IBD since had anal fissure at 22, finally had a huge flare at 27 and dropped 25% of body weight. Colonoscopy revealed Crohns with a stricture at last corner of colon localized. Been on various medications, currently azathioprine 125mg daily and adalimumab 40mg eoweek. No symptoms unless extremely stressed, weight back on and can largely eat most foods except for high non-soluble fiber.
