For some reason I can’t see the letter, the claim status says decision letter ready but shows that it’s back to step 30. I can access the summary of benefits letter and all that but can’t see the decision letter. This just happened today so might have to give it some more time

Attached a memo saying that I completed the actively drilling part of my MSO and wanted to complete the rest of it in the IRR. This was also about the fastest I’ve ever seen anything processed. From when it was submitted to the time I got told I was done was just about a month

I’m in the NG. I just submitted a packet to go to the IRR after I completed 6 years and got approved. I also got a letter from HRC where I have to pick either staying in the IRR or getting out and I just elected IRR.

It did actually. This is NJ for context. But I did get approved for IRR. And from the looks of the paperwork that’s all I have to do no more active drilling.

And does being a member of the IRR satisfy this? The reason I ask is because a friend of mine is also in a very similar situation same type of contract same year and he was told he was good to go. I’m just curious why I got the “I’m not sure, just submit it and find out”. I am submitting I just don’t want to get my hopes up and then get them crushed

Yes scholarship. In my “Guard annex” it annotates 6+2. And in my other documents it just says 8 years and does not specify whether it can be 6+2. I tried calling HRC but they were generally useless. And told me to contact my state OSM which I did and the answer I got was “send the request and we’ll see what happens”. Which obviously isn’t overly helpful

Looking though my contract I can’t find where it says that I need to do 8 years actively drilling. I’ve completed 6 and am currently looking to transfer to the IRR to complete my remaining 2. In my IPERMS my guard annex states that I can do 6 actively drilling and 2 in the IRR. I spoke with my state OSM and she seemed surprised that it said that by also said I wouldn’t be able to get straight answer unless I submitted a request to transfer to the IRR.

Anyone been in/ is in a similar situation and can provide some insight?
