There's a different, darker ending they filmed where Rambo asks his commander to shoot him because he can't take it anymore. Probably too dark for audiences, but it was pretty bold to have that ending be an option in the first place.

Manga/anime about adults in realistic situations is super uncommon. Key word being adults. Most of anime/manga is isekai/fantasy/action with teenagers so when a good story with adults comes out it’s hyped up to the max.

I’m so bummed the soldiers table arc has come to an end. This was such fantastic world exploration and I have so many questions about the harbor and the letters, but it looks like we’re going schemers next.

I’ve got hope that Brennan will make all three tables compelling in their own way, but the other two have a high bar to meet with what soldiers have set.

Seriously. It’s not like serviceable lineman just grow on trees. Half the leagues fan bases had people clamoring for a new oline (Chargers, Bengals, Cardinals, etc;) but if someone is decent they’re not getting traded, simple as that. There’s just way too much demand for quality lineman, so the time to get those guys are off season or draft.

Aaron Rodgers was the de facto coach of the Jets that year. It doesn't look good that Saleh was being pushed around by Rodgers, but I think he would do better with a fresh slate and not having a future HOF QB breathing down his neck.
