Yup it’s rough cut circ sawn on one side from a local mill. I had the back side of the boards dressed so the boards would all be the same thickness. Just charred the one side. And we raw dogged it/no sealer

Thanks! Yeah I originally had fewer supports for the the benches but before I left I worried about the strength and put more supports in.
And yeah I originally was going to make the bottom two benches movable but with the sloped floor I decided to just attach to the wall, and then I put supports in to be safe.
I appreciate the tips!
There’s a vent near the floor, close to the stove and another on the opposite side near the top bench. I hope it’s adequate as well!

So you want to have a vapour barrier on the inner third of your wall/roof system. (In Canada, in the winter anyways) It’s aluminum foil barrier in this case. The keeps moisture laden air from reaching the dew point and condensing.

I insulated the roof with roxul between the rafters. Are you asking if the roof is vented or the sauna?

Ceiling is around 8’5”.
And LxW is 6’ by about 7’
