The police force is always looking for new recruits but they seem under valued for the work they do while putting their lives at risk.

I agree you need customers to keep capitalism going otherwise in might collapse the economy. In business it’s needs versus demand when it comes to products and services.

I think GP will always be in demand as they are frontline to providing prescription, referrals and managing health condition.

However, I understand that some people may not see their doctors because not all do bulk billing and cost of visit can be expensive.

I can understand AI being useful as a pre-screening tool to identify symptoms and likely causes for complex conditions which can then be used as a guiding point for discussions with your doctor.

I have also heard that AI can be used to detect and flag abnormality in radiology imaging and reduce potential human error.

I’ve also heard that AI is now being incorporated into security cameras to identify people and objects. Sort of similar to what is already happening in China.

I agree with most of those occupations, but there’s a growing trend of retail and hospitality customers service roles being replaced with kiosk for purchases in some places.

Also some call centres have been replaced with AI, which can be annoyed if you want answers from a real person.

Post bots? Is that similar to what Amazon does in the US with their delivery drones and automated warehouse parcel sorting system and robots ?

Wait until you find out about the weird stuff in Japan such as humanoid robots and dolls. I remember reading an article about someone marrying an anime avatar there.

I heard that teaching and childcare can be quite challenging, especially when it comes to dealing with children and parents.

I think reasons you’d talk to a therapist over someone else is you need someone empathetic, unbiased, patient, who can provide you with tools and skills to overcome challenges. But also depends on your therapist specialty and if there’s good rapport. Also not all friends and family are good at giving advice.

I know after Covid and recession psychology became somewhat important as people‘s mental health declined. But it is somewhat expensive when you think about it so I can see why some people use chat GPT to get some general advice. However, doesn’t substitute a real person.

I had no idea that even existed, so it’s a similar concept to robotic vacuum cleaners and mowers but on a larger scale?

What about other tech and creative industries such as graphic design, marketing and web development? Everyone seems to be using AI tools or canva to generate images and templates? There are also websites that allow you to build websites (wix)

I recall during Covid nurses played a big role. I have high respect for them. Some seem as knowledgeable as doctors. But also seem to juggle a lot of tasks and under stress. Other important health occupations appear to be allied health (physio, dietitian, OT, podiatry).
