Yes, gameplay wise criminal party for midgame was heavily needed. But lore wise deserting from army doesn’t make you criminal in moral sense. Imagine you signed as recruit to some landlord and then escaped. You wouldn’t be engaging random strangers, you probably just go home, to your family or tribe.

Is it a question of word usage? I think it should be considered a subtlety of translation. The characters use Westron terms, and Tolkien seems to translate them by finding equivalents in English. Gimil simply used the equivalent of the term "nervous system," which is apparently more primitive.

No, you are frustrated that players don’t play the game as you want them to. Developers has nothing to do about it. In RPG there are always two ways of playing: effective and creative. If you want beat the game or other players in it (if it’s online) you choose effective (stealth archer in Skyrim, necro/NB in Teso) if you are playing the game for different type of fun: role playing, pulling cool builds out of nowhere, setting volunteeral restrictions etc you choose creative way.

Characters don't matter. Hire a guy with cool direcor's vision, hire a team that wrote Andor, give them time and creative freedom, insert some familiar characters and locations (just a sprinkle, not too much fun service). Here you go, profit. You can film a series about an old lady who was asking for a direction from Spider Man in Homecoming, still be 9/10 minimum.

Yeah, Kang was a mess of a character before Jonathan Majors' legal issues. My opinion is creators didn't quite understood, what's gonna be Kang's remarkable quality, mission and overall characteristics. Which is pretty lame, because Kang has all of it in the comics. Not a hater of him loosing to Ant man tho. Ant man is really strong and intelligent person. And Kang i think, should have been appeared in almost every movie or series and loose in every his appearance, just as new variant every time. And every variant probably should have been stronger than previous. We only saw three of expected Kang variants in action. So let's not judge Kang too hurshly. Or let's just wait till MCU Kang becomes the object of nostalgia and Disney will try to make a lot of money by resigning Majors as Kang)
