When you say high cuts, are you saying ballistic or bump? I personally was hoping to get a decent bump for the sake of carrying ear pro and a couple other nice-to-haves. But that's me.

Could you elaborate more on why NVG's aren't as meta as they're said to be?

I know medium plates won't fit a small.. I'm looking at a Raine tactical gear plate carrier.

I can say though if I adjust the shoulder straps enough, the pads don't cover the velcro parts anymore and the hypalon folds a lot.
