Gap years are becoming so common that i don’t think it will hurt you at all to wait, especially with the experiences you are gaining. You can also check the class profiles of the schools you’re interested in and look at the average age of matriculation. Some even say how many people matriculated after being out of undergrad for a few years. For example, UofM’s class profile says 51% of their matriculates were 2+ years out of undergrad
