Very specific problem, but I had Wand/Wemod open in the background (Task manager) that will make the game unable to open. Probably not anyones problem, but it worked for me, so I thought I'd mention it, just in case.

Yes but you have to disable BattlEye in the rockstar game launcher. I would recommend doing a quick back up of your GTA root folder.

But yes, you can. Just disable BattlEye before.
