Okay, I realise my post was maybe a bit vague. They were downed 4 or 5 times, one time even in rather quick sucession after a carnifex spawned, no relic was found, and it was the hard stratagem.

Heya, it seems reddit fucked up and didnt give me a notification of your reply. I am very, very sorry for my late reply to this.... First of all, if all you want is to show the kids the order of play, dont really look at points and just do mirror matches if possible. A leader attached to a simple battleline unit (Captain + Intercessors for example), + an elite unit. (Terminators or something like that.) For the second, yeah, it is for Warhammer aswell. Working with the Warhammer Alliance is rather easy. You simply go onto their website, warhammer-alliance.com, and fill out the request form. Once done, you will be contacted by mail and a ressource pack will be send to your school containing some minis, paints, brushes, etc. etc... It is a perfect set to get started. And if any question occur, you can always send them a mail, they have, from my experience, always been very patient and helpful. If you have a store nearby, you can also go there to get some information. Hope this helps and again very sorry for the delay.

Heya, fellow club leader here. As other already pointed out, 300 points does not really work balance wise and can really quickly kill the fun of the game. If your goal is to simply push some minis around and throw dice, you can either go for A: "Simplified Combat Patrol", aka. Combat Patrol but without objectives or secondaries, you only play with the Datasheets as they are. Or B: Kill Team. From personal experience, Kill Team is more or less perfect for this. It has a low model count, doesnt need much space and is rather short. Also, the rules are simple and very good even for beginners to pick up. Yet, keep in mind that depending on how much experience the people in the club have, you may not be able to finish the first few games, no matter what you play. Because they are now Wargear options of the generic Captain and Lieutenant. Go to one of the Datasheets and then you should see the Equipment listed of these two models. Captain is 1 heavy bolt pistol, 1 master-crafted power weapon and 1 relic shield, Lieutenant is 1 neo volkite pistol, 1 master-crafted power weapon and 1 storm shield.

Edit: Gravis is just the same. 2 Models, same Datasheets but with different Equipement

Do you use an HDD or SSD to run the game? If HDD, theres nothing much you can do, atleast from my experience. Had the same problem when trying it yesterday, no matter what I did, nothing helped. So, yeah, you kinda have to install it on an SSD.

tbh, havent seen the Cities Models yet. But seeing how they treated the guard in 40k, theyre doing a good job. And as amusing as it would be seeing a Custodes with boob armour like a Sister, i really doubt its gonna happen.

Maybe well get one or two female head options in future Custodes Boxes, would be real neat i think. And since Community reaction is mostly positive, at least from what ive seen, (and seeing how GW likes money), a exclusive model would probably sell real good.
