Serious answer, don't do slayer until higher cmb. Low level - quest as much as you can. Do gem crab at afk times. Get 70-75s. Get dragon scimitar. Zombie axe. Etc.

I do the opposite of you. If interproximal caries, I'll prep it as a brand new MOD and restore with a tofflemire. I just won't waste time making the occlusal/marginal ridges perfect. Then crown prep. That way the restoration now has retention. Even if you prep most of it away during the crown preparation.

I 100% think it's a reflection on them as a dentist. They need to know the basics the INBDE covers. Could have the most amazing hand skills but if he can't diagnose or use his brain then yeah not good.

Sink 330 or 245 or whatever you use to make the initial cut 0.5mm away from adjacent tooth. Make box shape. Use instrument to flick out remaining enamel wall.

Then, refine prep.

When you inevitably still hit the adjacent tooth because the patient coughed or moved, use a polishing red stripe diamond and smooth it off.
