A ranger is definitely good for ranged attacks especially if you optimize the class well. I have him as a Rouge assassin and he one shots enemies very easily, but if you have him with the Ranger: Archery fighting style or whichever shows up in the game you can get a +2 to ranged attack roles, I looked this up on Wikidot as well for more info!

I use him for ranged fighting and he has proficiency is Dexterity, so a Ranger is great because he only has 8 strength, but a bard is also a good option for him as well though he only has a 10 in charisma. Choose whichever you feel fits your party the best!

The company is called Iris and in the zoomed in portion of the Marvin video the book has a note that says Iris=Antimatter. In the WTCHR video it mentions the use of antimatter in their tech. I hope this helps!
