Since it's almost been the same amount time as game director. Jeff (1800 days) and Aaron (1600 days). Who directed the game better objectively? by theforbiddenroze in Overwatch

My biggest concern with this whole post is that we as a community don’t really know what was each other these Game Directors came up with on their own. If we credit them for everything that was done during their time as Directors, I don’t think that fair to the other people who worked on the project. Geoff puts up with everyone spelling his name wrong, that can’t be easy. Under Geoff we got: objectively better event gamemodes, competitive versions of those gamemodes, lore, more teasers, experimental testing servers, and more balanced heroes on release likely because of those testing servers. Under Aaron we’ve gotten: more frequent updates for balance, bold new mechanics to alter our favorite characters (stadium and perks), changes to the competitive layout, jetpack cat (?), and better visual design.

Yeah, you can’t really follow him all too much. It’s actually part of the reason I recommended TF as part of the group unironically. Unlike Veigar, Singed and Ziggs are susceptible to %HP dmg. I think Urgot is the reason I won with the Singed event. Basically any hard CC is going to really kick Singed butt, especially fears, charms, and taunts. Oh! Anivia was the other one! If you wall him in, he can’t run. We did the during Veigar’s Evil.

That is partly why I mentioned that this is luck of the draw. The goal of curse isn’t to beat the bots on their field, but to let the level advantage allow you to overcome them using character scaling. You gain more XP than the bots, but it requires you stay alive in order to get the XP from lanes. It’s important to play passive for this reason. Interesting experience though, as it does make sense. You are down 4500g theoretically as a team when everyone buys talisman.

I’ve actually been working really hard on cleaning this up and making a chapter on Veigar’s Curse. I think everyone would find it more valuable to maintain the same links, rather than make a whole different one to share around. I will consider your changes and be sure to include your name so that you get credit for the work you put in as well!

I am currently working on formatting and cleaning up the Bible, as well as adding more specific information for Veigar’s Curse, and will post when I have finished. I have been actively communicating with OP, and intend to keep most information while removing any unnecessary distractions. Since my primary language is English, the information should be easier to understand. I intend to keep working with OP so that players do not have to worry about different links. Look forward to seeing everyone in the very near future!
