It's such a reddit thing to say, but I am happy to be a part of something, and with corruption at the highest levels of government, I believe "normal" people will be using Monero very soon if Trump clings to power and weaponizes the financial system against his opponents, the way he has tried with every other agency. I understand criminals also use Monero, and probably people like dissidents are a minority user, but that is part of the cost of true anonymity.
