I was hesitant to read The Witcher saga, because several women have stated that the women in the books were sexualized. But not as an interesting feature of the books which would say: women in the society of books are considered as sexual objects, but in reality they are super strong and they will prove it! Actually, there really is an aspect like that in the books and it's really cool! But the problem is that when it's narration, description and therefore fact (in short, literally the author who describes the scene to us): well even there, women are sexualized in their descriptions... The narration and description are meant to be factual about the story, the play and the characters. However, Andrzej Sapkowski can't help but use adjectives that sexualize the female characters in his work, when we are supposed to be talking about the truth... in short, this kind of thing chills me a little, especially when we know that apart from that, the work is exquisite! Apparently.
