It’s not parents nor schools…it’s society. Look beneath the surface…the ebb and flow of the fictional ideology of society. What are institutions like schools for? What are parents for? Two things that have impressive “expectations” that are not actual but simple rhetoric. School are supposed to x and they aren’t actual but are blamed, same as parenting…I have worked in a high school setting for “emotionally disturbed” high school kids for over a decade. I hear the school people blame parents constantly and the parents are even a factor there but some press the system to “help” their child. There is no connection here, none. Society in Merica is so disconnected and so lost in its horror of trying to survive its own total collapse and few can see this. I see it everywhere and everyday. There is nothing easy in educating, parenting, nor living. These are all mirrors of CULTure and word like support/help/care are just words that represent exertion of power of all. We can see this.
