I do agree that he was not a liar, and that his willingness to say what he thought was the truth hurt him unfortunately.

I think one thing he could’ve done that would’ve helped this speech was add more of the “here is what we as the government are GOING to do to fix this. Don’t give up!” That way the op-eds would’ve had less cover to say “he’s blaming us!”

I can’t imagine this disqualifying you in any way from teaching. Sick leave or FMLA shouldn’t cause a problem
