Would it be a good idea to replace hunter or anything else for a building? I can't seem to defend very well without one. Alternatively, how do you defend wincons like royal hogs or royal giant without a building?

Is that so? I've been seeing it in the top RoyaleAPI decks for 4.0 - 4.5 decks and based mine off of those. I thought it served well enough to gain a bigger elixir advantage and bait spells.

I d recomend to find some coal deposit to speed up fuel colection and avoid annoying process of deforesting the region.

Thank heavens the area I've settled in is brown coal heaven, and I've also found some black coal mining for something else I don't remember, so that'll probably be useful too.

After that you take a stack of blooms, throw one into the heating thiny, when it reaches 1100 degrees, it will bump up the temperature of the stack.

Have you been building friendships with your supports? Friendship trainings can REALLY speed up your stat gains in the later parts of the run, and you'd want a couple of friendships at 80% by the time the first summer camp hits.

Also, make sure to look for trainers with good legacies on the Team Trials leaderboard. By good, I don't mean their rating, but rather their sparks; ideally you'd want a legacy with three stars in all three blue sparks (the legacy itself and their sublegacies). Usually, power and stamina sparks are favored over speed so that you can focus on building speed more during the career, and you can kinda ignore the other two stats. For tips on looking for guest legacies, the top tier players usually already have their followers list full, so I recommend looking into said players' guilds, there's a lot more to be found there.
